This video and reports of oily rain from residents of other gulf coast states has been making the rounds online. The EPA has issued statements saying that they have “no data, information or scientific basis that suggests that oil mixed with dispersant could possibly evaporate from the Gulf into the water cycle.”
I’m not sure what to make of this at the moment. I’ve been in NY for about a week now so I can’t give a “boots on the ground” report on this one. Anyone else seeing rain like this? Have pictures or video?
