Obama with Gulf Coast Governors
President Obama giving statements in late May from Louisiana on the progress of the oil spill cleanup and the status of the so-called top kill maneuver. Officials had initially reported moderate success with the maneuver, which pumps mud and drilling fluid to counteract the oil pressure, but paused the effort when too much fluid leaked along with the oil.
